Life Science Washington and Life Science Washington Institute is proud to share that Alex Federation, PhD, and Lindsay Pino, PhD, co-founders of Talus Bio, were recognized as the recipients of the 2025 Entrepreneurial Achievement Award at last week’s Life Sciences Leadership Gala.
Launched in 2020, and presented by Perkins Coie, this award honors founding leaders who have demonstrated significant entrepreneurial accomplishments, advanced life-changing innovations, and contributed to Washington state’s economic development.
Founded in 2020, Talus Bio is developing new therapeutics that target transcription factors, the central regulators of gene expression that have long been considered difficult to drug. Using its MARMOT platform, Talus Bio integrates AI, proteomics, and chemistry to identify and optimize small molecules that modulate transcription factor activity. The company participated in the LSW Institute Washington Innovation Network (WIN) Mentoring Program and in 2024 successfully raised a Series A round to advance its discovery programs.
Talus Bio’s achievements demonstrate how Washington’s life science ecosystem continues to drive innovation and entrepreneurial success.
Congratulations Talus Bio!
